Processing Worker I

As a Processing Worker I at Goodwill, your role involves sorting, cleaning, pricing, and stocking donated goods in our store. You will play a crucial part in providing job readiness training and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. By accepting donations and assisting on the sales floor, you will contribute to our mission of sustainability and community support. Your key responsibilities will include: - Sorting, inspecting, cleaning, pricing, and tallying donations for the sales floor - Assisting in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise by pushing racks and carts - Opening and closing the donations area while maintaining cleanliness and organization - Providing excellent customer service to donors and customers - Assisting truck helpers and drivers with loading/unloading trucks - Performing any other duties as assigned To excel in this role, you should ideally possess: - High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), with processor experience being preferred - Minimum of 6 months of recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program for Processing Worker I - Knowledge of quality clothing and famous brand names merchandise would be advantageous - Computer skills and specific certificates/licenses are not required Join us at Goodwill and be a part of a team that values Creativity, Credibility, and Collaboration to make a positive impact on the environment and society.,
