Supervisor - Production (Laser Welding)

Job Title: Operator - Battery Pack Laser Welding

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Laser Welding machines for Busbar to Busbar and Cell welding in Battery Pack Assembly.
• Ensure welding quality and process consistency in accordance with defined standards and safety requirements.
• Handle and inspect battery cells and modules with best practices for safety and electrochemical handling.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of laser welding machines and escalate major issues to maintenance.
• Maintain daily production reports, rejection logs, and other MIS documents for Laser Welding accurately.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams for smooth production flow.
• Implement process improvements and rejection reduction techniques to enhance productivity.
• Support internal and external audits with appropriate documentation and compliance readiness.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in laser welding processes and machine operations.
• In-depth knowledge of battery cells and battery pack handling.
• Experience in laser welding machines for Cells.
• Strong people management and shop floor supervision skills.
• Good understanding of production documentation and reporting Daily MIS, Rejection Summary, SOPs for Laser Welding
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environments.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols related to battery production.
