Job Description

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor the sulphitation tanks and SO gas dosing system.
Maintain pH and temperature within standard process limits.
Coordinate with the juice preparation and evaporation sections for continuous operation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the sulphitation area.
Record daily process readings and report abnormalities to the shift in-charge.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during operation.
Assist in start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activities of the sulphitation section.
Monitor SO2 levels during operation
Ensure safe plant operations at all times
Follow ITIs & sugar plant procedures
Operate equipment safely with SOC control
Perform juice clarification processes
