Mahindra International School seeks a dedicated and versatile Permanent Substitute Teacher to support our diverse learning community. This full-time position involves covering classes across all grade levels (EY1, age 3 to DP2, age 18) and subjects when regular teachers are absent. The role is crucial in maintaining continuity of education and supporting the schools mission and vision.

Main Responsibilities:

Cover classes for absent teachers across all grade levels and subjects
Implement lesson plans and instructional materials provided by regular teachers to a diverse age range (3-18 years old) in any subject
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Supervise students during non-classroom time, including playtime duties and hallway monitoring
Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement
Assist with exam invigilation as needed
Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school community

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required; Bachelors degree in Education preferred
Strong communication skills in English
Flexibility and adaptability to various teaching situations and subject areas
Experience working with students across different age groups is advantageous
