Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform
testing and commissioning
of substation equipment: Transformers, CT, PT, CB, Isolator, Relay panels, etc.
Carry out
Transformer testing
IR, PI, Tan Delta, Winding Resistance, Vector Group, Ratio, SFRA, etc.
Conduct
primary and secondary injection tests
for protection relays and logic verification.

Identify and resolve electrical faults and technical issues during site testing.
Prepare
test reports
, site logs, and handover documentation.
Follow
safety procedures
and maintain quality standards at all times.

Key Skills:

Substation Testing & Commissioning
Transformer Testing up to 50 MVA
Relay Coordination & Protection Logic
OMICRON / CPC / SVERKER / CT Analyzer
Switchyard Equipment Testing
Fault Analysis & Troubleshooting
IEC / IEEE Standards Knowledge

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in
Electrical Engineering
23 Years experience in substation & transformer testing
Willing to work at various project sites across Oman
