Perform material ordering and BOM preparation tasks for substation construction. Review substation drawing packages such as electrical arrangements, plan and section views, grounding, cable and conduit drawings. Mentor lower-level designers in all aspects of substation design, including drafting, drawing package requirements, and material ordering. Communicate with clients and project stakeholders. Experience in Substation design, engineering, or project execution of Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines (specifically 132kV, 220kV, and/or 400kV), preferably within the power generation, transmission, or renewable energy Required Candidate profile transmission line design software such as PLSCADD knowledge of relevant Indian Standards (IS), CEA Regulations, Grid Codes & international standards (IEC, IEEE) pertaining to EHV transmission lines.
