Summary : Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Design and Engineering of GIS and AIS Substations projects for voltage level of 220KV, 400KV or up to 765KV. JOB DESCRIPTION: Design and prepare SLD, PSLD, and general arrangement drawings for 220/400/765 kV substations as per specifications and standards. Develop equipment layouts, foundation layouts, earthing mat designs, and DSLP calculations with BOM details. Perform equipment sizing and selection (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, surge arresters, battery banks, UPS, busbars, cables, and trays). Prepare cable schedules, termination schedules, clearance diagrams, and interconnection details in compliance with IEC/IEEE/IS standards. Conduct lighting design, short-circuit force calculations, stringing charts, and system studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, etc.). Review and vet GTPs, GA drawings, data sheets, and vendor documents for all substation equipment.
