Job Description

Job Summary:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Pre-Bid Design:

Prepare the Technical Abstract.
Prepare technical quarries.
Develop tower & Foundation design and drawings require in the tender submission.
Review the tower and foundation designs & getting approval from Client.

Execution of Contract:

Prepare the design calculation of the structure and foundation for the Towers
Preparation of sag tension calculation
Develop final key line for the Transmission tower structure
Develop foundation drawings for Tower structure
Review the detail structural and fabrication drawing prepared by the draftsman
Review the vendor drawings of the all the transmission bought out items for compatibility with Tower structures.
Issue the drawings to site/ client
Reply the comments received from client
Coordinate with site at the time of project execution and commissioning
Prepare as built drawing (Civil) after commissioning of the Line
Tower Profiling knowledge using PLS CADD & PLS Tower.
Foundations design of isolated, raft, pile foundation

Knowledge of civil engineering
- Particularly basic knowledge of execution of transmission projects, various techniques etc

Working knowledge of

PLS tower and CAAD
itower
AutoCAD

Knowledge of design Codes

EN /BS codes
IEC /IS codes
ACI/ASCE codes
South African codes
DIN codes

Internal Customers:

Manager (Design)
Head-Engineering services
Supply Chain

External Customers:

External interactions required with consultant and client
