Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Hindi

Role Overview:

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Hindi will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and enhancing Hindi curriculum/content for students. The role involves academic content creation, training support, quality assurance, and providing subject expertise to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design high-quality academic content, lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and study materials in Hindi.
  

• Review, proofread, and edit content to maintain accuracy, language quality, and alignment with curriculum standards (NCERT/State/CBSE/ICSE as applicable).
  

• Support teachers with subject-specific training, teaching strategies, and resource creation.
  

• Conduct research to ensure content relevance, cultural context, and grade-appropriate material.
  

• Provide academic support in question paper setting, evaluation guidelines, and answer keys.
  

• Collaborate with curriculum designers, instructional designers, and multimedia teams for content digitization.
  

• Stay updated with the latest educational practices, NEP 2020 guidelines, and language teaching methodologies.
  

• Provide subject expertise for competitive exam content (if applicable).
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command over Hindi language (grammar, vocabulary, literature, and pedagogy).
  

• Knowledge of NCERT/CBSE/ICSE/State syllabus.
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.
  

• Ability to create engaging and structured academic content.
  

• Tech-savvy with familiarity in MS Office / Google Workspace.
  

• Eye for detail, accuracy, and creativity in content writing.
  

Qualification & Experience:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Hindi / Hindi Literature / Language Studies.
  

• B.Ed / M.Ed preferred.
  

• 5 years of teaching / curriculum design / content development experience in Hindi subject.
  

• Experience in EdTech or academic publishing is an added advantage.
