About your new role:

Position: Study Abroad Counsellor

Experience Required: Minimum 6 months in overseas education counselling

Location: Gurugram, India

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

1. Counsel students on study opportunities in countries, including course selection, university options, admission processes, and visa guidance.
2. Provide end-to-end admission assistance with a strong focus on public universities/institutes.
3. Guide students on admission requirements, application documentation, and scholarship opportunities.
4. Maintain updated knowledge of admission criteria, processes, and deadlines for institutions.
5. Handle student queries via calls, emails, and counselling sessions (virtual/in-person).
6. Track and follow up with student applications to ensure timely submission and conversions.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience from counselling to admission.

Key Requirements

1. Minimum 6 months of counselling experience in study abroad domain (mandatory).
2. Strong knowledge and experience in admissions to Study Abroad Universities.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand student needs and provide customized solutions.
4. Familiarity with visa processes will be an added advantage.
5. Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving student admission targets.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field.

Experience in handling applications for public institutes in Germany or other EU countries.

Knowledge of German/European education system, popular courses, and career pathways.
