Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include Source, identify, and secure suitable work placement opportunities for students. Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate student work placements to ensure meaningful experiences. Build strong relationships with employers to maximize sustainable employment and progression opportunities for students. Organize and manage an agreed caseload of students, assisting in their preparation for placements. Respond promptly to first-line inquiries from employers and students regarding placements. Maintain accurate records of work placements, ensuring compliance with funding requirements. Serve as a liaison between employers and the college, referring business leads to appropriate college representatives and keeping the college informed on market trends and business needs. Collaborate with the wider Learner Partnership Team through meetings, planning, and staff development activities. Provide team support and cover as needed.
