Position:

Student Admission Counsellor

Key Performance Area:

1. Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, personal, emotional, and career-related concerns

2. Convert the leads to admission over phone calls.

3. Assist students in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities

4. Identify students at risk and provide appropriate support, referrals, or interventions

5. Maintain accurate and confidential student counseling records

6. Collaborate with faculty, parents (when appropriate), and administrative staff to support student success

7. Conduct workshops and awareness programs on stress management, time management, mental well-being, and life skills

8. Guide students on career planning, higher education options, and personal development

9. Follow institutional policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality guidelines

10. Participate in student orientation programs and campus activities as required

Academic Background:

Graduate in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field

Relevant certification or license (preferred, as per local regulations)

3 years of experience in student counseling or a related role

Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills

Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds

Knowledge of student development theories and counseling techniques

Experience:

Min 3 years of experience in student counseling or a related role
