Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Draughtsman specializing in Pre-Engineered Buildings, located in Chennai. The Structural Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and plans, collaborating with engineers and construction teams, and ensuring designs meet industry standards. Daily tasks include drafting, revising drawings based on feedback, and preparing layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD
• Experience in drafting structural designs for pre-engineered buildings
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Knowledge in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and steel structure design
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus
