Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structural Draughtsman specializing in Pre-Engineered Buildings, located in Chennai. The Structural Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and plans, collaborating with engineers and construction teams, and ensuring designs meet industry standards. Daily tasks include drafting, revising drawings based on feedback, and preparing layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD Experience in drafting structural designs for pre-engineered buildings Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings Knowledge in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and steel structure design Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Key Responsibilities: · Proposal sketches · General arrangement (GA) drawings · Fabrication drawings, · Erection drawings, and · Bills of materials. Requirements: · Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting of Pre engineered building and Structural steel building structures. · Proficiency in CAD / Tekla · Strong understanding of PEB systems and Structural steel fabrication · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawing preparation. · Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
