GEW India Pvt Ltd (Galadari Engineering) is looking for a highly experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Thane. If you have a strong background in Structural Designer will work on a variety of structural steel projects ranging from basic beam and column structures to complex exo skeletal frames. They also modify existing products or processes to increase efficiency or improve performance researching whether the design will work and be cost-effective.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Prepare the preliminary framing layout and finalize after discussion with manager
• Experience or exposure to steel structural manufacturing
• Delivering calculation of exact steel quantities for procurement and erection of structure with accuracy & economy
• Creating quotation at bidding level to job finalizing; analyzing the model of structures in softwares like Staad pro to understand the connection of elements design
• Prepare the connection design as applicable
• Prepare the design sketches and forward to design coordinator for modeling/detailing
• Review the GA drawings and connection details prepared with respect to design
• Prepare the Design Calculation Report and submit for approval of the Authority
• Visit Consultant/Client/Municipality for discussion on submission/meetings whenever required
• Coordinate with client/consultant for design/detailing requirements
• Coordinate with other colleagues/departments as and when required
• Visit site to assist erection team for any design issues

Education Qualification

M. Tech/ Civil

Work Experience

• 6+ years of experience Technical Degree in Engineering i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanic) / M. Tech/ Civil
• Proficiency in TEKLA, STAAD Pro design and Analysis Software
• Good Knowledge of American and British Design Codes

Skills

• Conversant with Auto-Cad
• Conversant with MS Office
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently
