Strategic Costing & Pricing Lead

As a Strategic Costing & Pricing Lead, you will be responsible for driving product pricing, cost optimization, and scenario planning across the operations. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering and finance teams to define and refine product costs. You will lead cost optimization programs in functions like supply chain and operations. Furthermore, you will support customer discussions on pricing, analyze product cost reports, and evaluate various business scenarios to aid strategic decisions. Additionally, you will contribute to new business proposals, RFQs, and commercial pitch decks. Key Responsibilities: - Define and refine product costs in collaboration with engineering and finance teams - Drive cost optimization programs across functions like supply chain and operations - Support customer discussions on pricing and analyze product cost reports - Analyze various business scenarios to support strategic decisions - Contribute to new business proposals, RFQs, and commercial pitch decks Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Production, or Electronics - MBA from a top-tier institute (such as IIM, NITIE, SJMSOM, or equivalent) - Minimum of 2+ years of post-MBA experience in Strategy, Consulting, FMCG, FMCD, or EMS - At least 2-3 years of pre-MBA experience in Engineering or SCM roles - Strong proficiency in Excel, product costing, and business case analysis - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills If you have a strong foundation in product costing, pricing, or value chain analysis and enjoy working in high-impact roles involving pricing strategy, cost optimization, and business analytics, this position is ideal for you.
