Job Description

Role Overview: As a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for Electrical goods and services, your main responsibilities include developing, evaluating, and managing supplier relationships to achieve material cost, availability, and inventory goals. You will be negotiating pricing, terms, and long-term contracts with strategic suppliers, analyzing supplier costs, and creating reports for management decisions. Additionally, you will closely coordinate with the global commodity manager to implement the global strategy for Electrical commodity. Key Responsibilities: - Global strategic sourcing of Electrical goods and services - Develop, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships - Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term contracts with strategic suppliers - Analyze supplier costs and create reports for management decisions - Coordinate with global commodity manager to implement global strategy for Electrical commodity - Work with Sales and Project Management to secure capacity for the business - Manage capacity and delivery schedule of 3rd party products - Troubleshoot and analyze continuous quality problems with suppliers - Organize and facilitate product teams for problem-solving - Maintain supplier quality and delivery through assessment and evaluation - Review and analyze MRP for timely delivery of production line requirements - Support engineering, sales, and production by providing supplier delivery data - Maintain supplier data, part data, and PO data with integrity - Resolve pricing, invoicing, and contract-related issues with suppliers - Collaborate with various departments on part-related issues - Maintain inventory levels for efficient production while attaining cost savings goals - Ensure supplier compliance - Perform special projects as required - Evaluate and track supplier readiness for production - Manage stakeholder relationships for on-time, on-budget, quality deliveries Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E/B. Tech (Electrical / Electronics) with MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Business Management - Experience: 13 to 15 years with at least 5 years in supply chain management of sourcing Electrical commodity - Skills: Strong negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, knowledge of purchasing policies, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Additional Details: The daily work environment is an office setting with a Monday through Friday schedule, occasional standing, reaching, grasping, and walking within the work environment.
