Job Description

Job Title: STP Operator Location: Coimbatore Department: Operations & Maintenance Reporting To: Site In-charge / O&M Manager Company Name: EGT ECO GREEN TECH PVT LTD HR - +91 95141 99799 hr@ecogreentech.in Job Responsibilities: Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) on a daily basis. Check and record inlet and outlet water parameters. Ensure proper functioning of pumps, blowers, and other equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the plant area. Perform routine maintenance and backwashing of filters. Record log sheets and report any breakdowns or abnormalities to the supervisor. Handle chemical dosing as per instructions. Follow all safety and environmental procedures. Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Any Technical Qualification (preferred in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environment). Experience: 0–3 years of experience in STP operation (Fresher can be considered for trainee role). Skills Required: Basic knowledge of STP process and equipment. Ability to maintain daily operation records. Safety awareness and teamwork.
