Job Description

Operate and control STP equipment such as pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and dosing systems.

Monitor treatment processes, water quality, and effluent parameters as per statutory requirements.

Collect and test water/wastewater samples for pH, BOD, COD, TSS, and other parameters.

Maintain accurate records of plant operations, chemical consumption, and test results.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and coordinate major repairs.

Ensure safe handling and storage of treatment chemicals.

Comply with environmental regulations and report deviations immediately.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in and around the STP facility.

Support audits, inspections, and statutory reporting.
