Job Description

Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, managing inventory control systems, and identifying potential shortages or surpluses. Receiving and Storing: Inspecting incoming deliveries, reconciling with purchase orders, and storing goods in appropriate locations, considering factors like weight, size, and safety. Dispersing: Dispensing stock from the store or warehouse, ensuring accurate quantities and proper documentation for inventory and billing. Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns. Stock Rotation: Implementing and maintaining first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation to prevent spoilage and ensure the use of older stock first. Coordination: Coordinating with suppliers, other departments, and staff to ensure smooth operations. Safety and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized storage area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and addressing minor repairs.
