Job Summary:

We are hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support our manufacturing operations. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing raw materials, tools, and finished goods inventory in accordance with production schedules and quality standards. This role ensures the smooth flow of materials to and from the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify deliveries of raw materials, parts, and supplies against purchase orders.
• Organize and store items in designated warehouse locations using labeling systems.
• Issue materials and tools to production teams based on job orders or schedules.
• Maintain real-time inventory records using ERP or inventory software.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with procurement to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Handle returns, rejections, and damaged goods according to company procedures.
• Ensure the store area complies with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of finished goods when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or warehouse training is a plus).
• 2+ years of experience as a storekeeper or warehouse clerk in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing materials.
• Working knowledge of inventory software or ERP systems.
• Physically fit to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with lean manufacturing or just-in-time inventory systems.
• Basic understanding of quality control processes.
