Store Supervisor

Job Description – Store Supervisor (Electrical Division)

Experience: 2–3 Years
Department: Electrical (HT/LT Projects, Substation, Feeder Bays)
Qualification: Diploma / BE Electrical (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Store Handling

• Receive, issue, and record all electrical materials used in HT/LT projects.
• Good knowledge of 11kV/33kV line materials, cables, joint kits, poles, insulators, hardware fittings, feeder bay equipment, etc.
• Proper stacking, tagging, identification, and safe storage of materials.

2. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and maintain it in Excel / ERP / SAP.
• Maintain daily inward & outward registers.
• Understand BOQ and plan materials as per project requirements.
• Verify vendor bills (material received vs purchase order).

3. Site Coordination

• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and purchase teams regarding material requirements.
• Supply materials on time for feeder bay erection, cable laying, pole erection, and substation work.
• Share daily stock reports with the site engineer and project manager.

4. Inventory Management

• Maintain minimum–maximum stock levels.
• Conduct monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Report shortages, damages, and excess materials to management.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safe handling and storage of electrical materials.
• Follow fire safety, housekeeping, and store safety guidelines.
• Identify damaged or expired materials and report for disposal.

• Understanding of cable types, drum reading, and electrical accessories
