As a skilled and detail-oriented Store Pharmacist at HealthSy, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing pharmacy operations at our retail store. Your role will involve dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing expert advice to customers, and maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities: - Attend to prescriptions at the sales counter, ensuring accurate dispensing and providing advice on correct dosage and medication use. - Source prescribed medications from in-house pharmacies if unavailable to ensure 100% fulfilment of prescriptions. - Provide detailed information to patients/customers on medication usage, potential side effects, and health advice for optimal therapeutic outcomes. - Maintain a register for delivery requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medicines to customers. - Manage inbound calls, focusing on providing drug information, patient education, and responding to queries related to drug therapy, home delivery orders, and medication concerns. - Assist with cash transactions and billing at the counter when required. - Ensure proper storage of all medications, including temperature-sensitive drugs requiring refrigeration, and implement necessary security measures. - Conduct thorough checks of received stock, including quantity, MRP, batch number, and expiry date before entering data into the system. - Accurately input stock data into the system and cross-check received items against store inventory records for accuracy. - Perform regular physical stock counts twice a week, categorizing items by type and verifying fast-moving items daily. - Maintain compliance with state and national pharmacy laws, regulations, and HealthSy Pharmacy policies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited institution. - Valid pharmacist license in the state of operation. - Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and drug interactions. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. - Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications. - Familiarity with inventory management systems and regulatory requirements.
