Job Description

As a Store Manager in a manufacturing company, your role involves handling all raw and packing materials efficiently. You will be responsible for planning, receiving, dispensing, and maintaining stock. Additionally, you will maintain daily MIS reports, handle inventory, monitor inward and outward activities, and ensure timely execution of stock transfers. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain all stocks and implement inventory control measures - Conduct physical verification of materials in stores - Adhere to 5S practices and FIFO/LIFO systems - Handle GRN/RGP/NRGP/ASN processes and maintain BIN Card - Have knowledge of E-Way Bill and Invoicing Inventory Management: - Keep accurate records of inventory levels and place orders for replenishment - Implement control measures to minimize stock shortages and excesses Procurement and Supplier Management: - Source and evaluate suppliers for raw and packing materials - Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards - Coordinate with the procurement team for timely deliveries Storage and Handling: - Oversee proper storage and handling of materials - Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards - Implement inventory storage systems for optimization Quality Control: - Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain standards - Conduct inspections on incoming materials for compliance Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain detailed records related to inventory and procurement - Generate reports on inventory levels and material usage - Provide regular updates to management on stock status Team Management and Training: - Supervise and train store personnel - Foster safety, efficiency, and teamwork within the department Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvement - Implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency Qualifications: - Education: UG/PG; MBA SCM is an advantage - Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in the manufacturing industry - Skills: Strong software knowledge, problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - Food provided - Health insurance - Provident Fund Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or relocate before starting work Experience: - Store management: 3 years Work Location: In person Please note that the job description is subject to change as per the company's requirements.,
