Job Title: Store Manager / Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Oversee the complete warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuance, dispatch, and stock control.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation, verification, and approval of

  GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes)

• Ensure proper stacking, storage, FIFO/FEFO adherence, and housekeeping across the warehouse.
• Monitor daily stock levels, conduct frequent cycle counts, and support annual physical audits.
• Manage rejection handling processes, including documentation, segregation, and return to suppliers.

2. Documentation & ERP Management

• Supervise all ERP entries (Tally / SAP / similar systems) related to stock movement and ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee RGP/NRGP processes, documentation, and timely closure of open gate passes.
• Ensure compliance with GST and other statutory requirements related to material movement.
• Review and validate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports generated by the team.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and supervise store executives, operators, and contract manpower.
• Plan and allocate daily activities within the store to ensure smooth operations.
• Train and develop the team on ERP usage, documentation accuracy, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, accounts, and dispatch teams for seamless workflow.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with suppliers for material returns, shortages, damages, and documentation follow-up.
• Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely dispatch and inbound planning.
• Engage with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and management for warehouse compliance.

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

• Drive process improvements for faster turnaround time and improved inventory accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to warehouse safety standards, PPE usage, and proper handling procedures.
• Implement best practices in warehouse management, including 5S and space optimization.

Key Competencies / KRAs

• Inventory Accuracy:

  Zero mismatch between physical and system stock.

• Timely Documentation:

  GRN posting, gate pass closures, and ERP updates.

• Process Compliance:

  GST, safety, audit readiness, and SOP adherence.

• Team Performance:

  Effective manpower management and productivity improvement.

• Operational Efficiency:

  Reduction in TAT, proper stacking, and improved material flow.

Other Skills & Attributes Required

• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple operations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), SAP, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
• Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance standard
