Store Manager - restaurant

You are the ideal candidate we are looking for to fill the position of Store Keeper in our hotel. As a detail-oriented and organized individual, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods efficiently. Your role will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's inventory management system. Your key responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming goods and materials. It will be your duty to ensure the proper storage of items with correct labeling in designated locations. Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating stock levels in the system will also be crucial tasks for you. Regular stock checks need to be conducted by you to prevent shortages or overstocking, thus contributing to the overall efficiency of our inventory management. In addition, you must ensure compliance with hotel standards for hygiene, safety, and quality control. Close coordination with the purchasing and kitchen teams regarding stock requirements is essential. You will be required to prepare and issue requisitions for items needed by various hotel departments and monitor the shelf life and expiry dates of perishable items. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store area will also fall under your purview of responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role. A diploma or certification in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, or a related field would be advantageous. Basic knowledge of inventory software and Microsoft Office tools is required. Your organizational and time-management skills should be top-notch, along with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be key to your success in this role.
