Description

We are looking for a Store Keeper to manage inventory and maintain a well-organized storage facility for our retail store in Canada and Australia. The ideal candidate should have 2-10 years of experience in storekeeping and a strong understanding of inventory management principles.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and shelve incoming inventory items.
Inspect and verify inventory items received against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
Prepare and process purchase orders and returns.
Monitor inventory levels and order new stock when necessary.
Ensure the storage facility is clean, organized, and secure.
Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Skills and Qualifications

2-10 years of experience in storekeeping or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with inventory management principles and software.
Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or supply chain management is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
