Job Description

SREENIDHI UNIVERSITY

Oversee the storage, and issuance of all dry goods and non-perishable items.
Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly.
Conduct routine checks to monitor product quality, shelf life, and storage conditions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dry store area in compliance with hygiene standards.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and procurement teams to forecast demand and avoid shortages.
Supervise unloading and proper stacking of supplies, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) method is followed.
Implement security measures to prevent theft, spoilage, or misuse of stock.

Requirements

Proven experience in inventory or store management, preferably in hospitality or hostel settings.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Familiarity with MS-Office & computer skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Minimum qualification: Diploma or Graduation; vocational training in storekeeping is a plus.
