JOB PROFILE 1. Managing Incoming & Outgoing flow of materials 2. Logistics & Transportation 3. Inventory control 4. Kitting & MRP Control 5. Safety & IMS 6. MIS & Trackers 7. Organizational Imperatives Key Result Areas:

The incumbent would report to Service Parts Head of the HO service team. - 1)
Managing Incoming & Outgoing Flow of Materials - Monitoring material incoming from bought-out suppliers, imports, inter-plant transfers, branch returns, sales returns, and warranty returns. - Material rejections as per standard operating practice (SOP). - Ensured all committed lines of the day are processed and dispatched on the same day (Sales, Service, Transfer, Rejection Orders). - Error resolution in coordination with HO, 3PL, GITL, and Commercial teams. - Resolution of tickets related to outward discrepancies raised by dealers, customers, and field teams via the incident reporting system or email. - Execution of pickups for return material from customer sites through cost-effective modes. - Ensuring & monitoring execution of daily PIC for ~600 SKUs across ~900 locations, including warranty returns and rejections. 2) Logistics & Transportation - Managing warehouse & courier-related escalations; processing insurance for material lost/damaged in transit. - Selection of cost-effective dispatch modes based on load weight, volume, dealer preference, and agency efficiency. - Recovery process for consignments lost or damaged in transit. - Coordination with divisional engineer to maintain MHEs (Material Handling Equipment) at full operational capacity; repairs arranged as needed to avoid unsafe operations. 3) Inventory Control - Monthly wall-to-wall inventory counts and half-yearly external audits. - Periodic monitoring of ageing, non-moving, and shelf-life inventory; coordination with HO and Finance to scrap or liquidate stocks. - Daily PIC tracking for ~600 SKUs across ~900 locations (also listed under materials flow due to operational linkage). 4) Kitting & MRP Control - Physical assembly of kits based on priority to maximize daily billed sales. - Development of various boxes/pallets to ensure safe packing and dispatch of kits. - Ensuring labelling of each spare with the correct MRP. - Ensuring sufficient stock of primary & secondary packing materials at all times; booking weekly consumption records for packing material used. 5) Safety & IMS - Divisional auditee for Internal and External IMS audits. - Annual updating of IMS manuals with recent changes, rules, and regulations in coordination with the plant safety head and divisional IMS coordinator. - Monitoring & elimination of safety hazards; conducting quarterly Mock Drills at CWH. - Daily GEMBA rounds to observe and resolve good/bad practices. - Facilitating toolbox meetings to discuss operations, safety, and other concerns. - Ensuring MHEs are in good condition to avoid unsafe operations (also cross-referenced under logistics). 6) MIS & Trackers - Managing MIS & trackers for: o Warranty returns o Scavenged assemblies o Battery ageing & disposal 7) Organizational Imperatives - Actively participating and originating Kaizens - Actively involving in Business Excellence initiative Adhere to Compliance and Safe Working Environment - Driving Kaizen improvements (e.g., segregation and process enhancements).
