Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management
Maintain stock levels of medicines, surgical items, consumables, and general store items.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed.
Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
Procurement Coordination
Raise purchase requisitions in coordination with department heads.
Liaise with the purchase department for timely supply of items.
Ensure proper documentation of goods received.
Storage & Distribution
Ensure proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature control for drugs).
Supervise timely and accurate issue of materials to various departments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store area.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain inward/outward registers and stock ledgers.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Maintain records for statutory audits and inspections.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and government regulations.
Handle controlled substances and medical items as per regulatory norms.
Train store assistants on SOPs and safety practices.
Team Supervision
Supervise and guide store assistants and support staff.
Monitor staff performance and assign duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20.00 - ₹28.00 per month
