You will be responsible for Packaging Development, Quality control of Packaging Materials, Compatibility study of packaging materials, and coordination for sourcing and procurement of Packaging materials. In Packaging Development, you will be expected to ensure timely development of Primary and Secondary Packaging materials to meet launch timelines. This includes developing various prototypes, seeking QC approvals, evaluating packaging materials for proper fitment and compatibility with the product, coordinating with cross-functional teams for artwork development, and obtaining necessary approvals for printing plates, punches, and cylinders. You will also be required to visit packaging vendors and contract manufacturers for approvals and line trials, as well as coordinate for tertiary packaging development. For Quality Control and Quality Assurance of the Packaging Materials, you will need to conduct developmental QC at the contract manufacturing facility, prepare specifications, ensure quality compliance of incoming packaging materials, conduct random quality inspections of new product development and regular finished goods supplies, and conduct transit trials when necessary to ensure product safety. You will also be responsible for conducting compatibility studies of the packaging materials in coordination with the contract manufacturer or in-house team to ensure product compatibility with the packaging. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure effective packaging operations and procurement processes.
