Store In-charge

As a Store In-Charge, your role involves overseeing the management of stock and materials at the construction site. Your key responsibilities include: - Checking the stock against records to ensure accuracy. - Issuing materials based on project manager's indent and issue slip. - Supervising the site to prevent wastage and improper use of materials. - Returning any unused materials at the end of each workday. - Updating stock records on display boards and slates. - Collaborating with junior engineers to prepare consumption reports. - Compiling a list of excess materials and updating stocks regularly. - Liaising with material suppliers, with approval from the purchase department, to ensure timely supply. - Maintaining records of departmental tools, machinery, and cash purchases. - Tracking empty cement bags received from contractors. - Monitoring and reporting on the working condition of machinery. - Recording daily store material receipts and consumption. You should have 2-3 years of construction experience to excel in this role. This is a full-time position located on-site.,
