Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Storekeeper to manage the overall functioning of the store, including material planning, receiving, storing, and issuing. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring timely and accurate stock entries, monitoring consumption, and coordinating with relevant teams to support smooth kitchen and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Planning & Procurement

Calculate reordering quantities accurately and ensure timely ordering of materials.

Maintain optimum stock levels at all times to avoid shortages or emergency local purchases.

2. Receiving & Storage Management

Receive incoming materials, verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.

Conduct quality checks, including expiry date verification, and reject any damaged or substandard items.

Arrange materials in a systematic and accessible manner.

Ensure materials are stored properly and on time in coordination with staff.

3. Hygiene & Cleanliness

Maintain absolute cleanliness and hygiene in the store area at all times.

Take preventive steps to keep the store free from insects, rodents, and other pests.

4. Issuing & Consumption Tracking

Issue materials to kitchen staff as per standard requisition procedures and designated timings.

Monitor and track material consumption regularly to identify unusual usage or wastage.

Follow proper documentation and approval protocols during issuing.

5. Accuracy in Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock entries, issues, and returns.

Ensure daily books are correctly maintained and available for audit or review at any time.

6. Process Adherence & Coordination

Follow all standard operating procedures related to inventory handling and store management.

Work closely with kitchen and procurement teams to ensure timely availability and proper storage of all required materials.

Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in food service, hospitality, or cloud kitchen environment.

Strong understanding of inventory management practices.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and stock handling.

Good organizational and hygiene standards.

Ability to work independently and in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Basic computer literacy or familiarity with inventory software is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
