Store Assistant

A. Store Operations

• Stores Activities like Inward, raising GRNs, maintaining Stock Ledgers, Issuing, Rejections Rebooking and Stock Statement etc
• Ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, Specification, conditions of the materials received from Vendors
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received
• Receive / issue material as per requisition by production / Quality/Maintenance
• Ensure proper communication between store-production and stores-purchase for material shortage, planning, and material quality issues
• Ensure the proper safety methods in stores
• Production Planning, General correspondence, registering indents received from production department
• Arrange for Inward the Goods and take the physical verification for Quantity & Quality
• Arrange to return the rejected goods

B. Inventory Management

• Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation
• Fully responsible for monthly closure of stock, stock review, Stock Audit and management.
• Responsible for proper stock verification in appropriate method
• Ensuring FEFO / FIFO is followed as per guidelines
• Inventory and stock management to prevent stock-outs or excess Inventory. KPI reporting as per guidelines and on-time
• To optimize age of inventory and ensure stock turns

KEY STAKEHOLDERS

• Internal - Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Manufacturing (QC), Logistics(Shipping)
• External - Vendors, Transporters

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Basic analytical skills
• Good communication skills- verbal & written
• Planning & following through, operate with discipline
• Should have knowledge on INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
• Should know about FIFO / FEFO
• Knowledge on accounts
• knowledge on stock audit
