Job Description:

The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting store operations by managing inventory, assisting customers, maintaining stock records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the store. This role involves both administrative and physical tasks to ensure effective stock handling and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
Maintain proper records of stock (inward & outward).
Ensure products are stored in an organized and accessible manner.
Assist in stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages.
Issue materials/products to staff or customers as per requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store/warehouse area.
Coordinate with purchase and accounts departments for stock updates.
Assist customers in locating and selecting products (if retail store).
Handle basic documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, and receipts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum qualification: 10+2 or Diploma (Graduate preferred).
Basic knowledge of storekeeping, inventory, and stock management.
Familiarity with MS Office or inventory management software.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift, move, and arrange stock when needed.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
