Description
As a skilled and detail-oriented Storage Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise storage infrastructures. Your expertise in Pure Storage, NetApp, Cisco MDS, Fibre Channel (FC), and NAS protocols like SMB and NFS will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of storage environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage Fibre Channel (FC) and NAS (SMB/NFS) storage environments. - Perform provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise storage systems. - Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness using best practices. Pure Storage Administration: - Manage Pure Storage environments including Active/Active clusters. - Implement and support Active DR and asynchronous replication strategies. - Configure protection groups and manage snapshots for data protection. Cisco MDS Operations: - Conduct zoning operations, including enhanced zoning for optimized performance and segmentation. - Perform firmware upgrades and hardware maintenance across Cisco MDS switches. NetApp Storage Support: - Administer NetApp ONTAP 9 and NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO). - Configure CIFS/SMB shares for secure and efficient file access. - Monitor performance and manage capacity to meet organizational storage needs. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering roles. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Pure Storage (Active DR, replication, clusters), NetApp ONTAP 9 & CVO, Cisco MDS (zoning, enhanced zoning, firmware upgrades), Fibre Channel, SMB, and NFS protocols. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
