Storage Backup Administrator

Key Responsibilities of SME.

 Manage and maintain storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage

solutions.

 Monitor storage performance and capacity to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

 Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and ensure business

continuity.

 Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement storage solutions that meet

business requirements.

 Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner.

 Evaluate new storage technologies and make recommendations for implementation.

 Create and maintain documentation related to storage infrastructure and processes.

 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

 Experience with storage technologies such as EMC, NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.

 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Relevant certifications (e.g., EMC Proven Professional, NetApp Certified Data Administrator)

are a plus.

 Fair knowledge of Vmware suite.

Qualification and Experience Required:

 BE/Btech with 10+ years of exp and any OEM certified in storage box like HP, Netapp, IBM ,

 HItachi.

Key Skills to search for.

hands-on experience on (NetApp/3PAR/Hitachi/Brocade switch). Hence cannot be considered for this

position.
