Job Description

The Steward (Waiter) is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and prompt service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and following service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and suggest specials or promotions.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
Check on guest satisfaction during the meal and address any concerns immediately.

Service Operations:

Prepare tables with clean linens, cutlery, glassware, and condiments before service.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guests efficiently.
Assist in buffet setups, banquets, and special event arrangements.
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and work equipment.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Ensure proper handling and storage of tableware and glassware.

Teamwork & Compliance:

Support colleagues in peak service times.
Follow hotel SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and brand service guidelines.
Report any service issues, guest complaints, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
