The Steward is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to guests. The role ensures a pleasant dining experience by maintaining service standards, hygiene, and prompt guest assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
Present menus and provide accurate information about food and beverages
Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen accurately
Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
Ensure table setup, cleanliness, and proper presentation
Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests
Handle guest complaints politely and inform seniors when required
Assist in billing and payment procedures when assigned
Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Support kitchen and service team during peak hours
Follow hotel/restaurant SOPs and service protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and service etiquette
Physically fit to stand and move for long hours
Ability to work in a team and under pressure
Polite, positive, and service-oriented attitude
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards

Education & Experience

Minimum: 10th Pass / 12th Pass
1–2 years of experience in hotel or restaurant service preferred
Freshers may be considered with training
