Position : Statutory Compliance Executive

Job Location: Salem, Erode and Coimbatore

Experience: Minimum 2 Years to Maximum 5 Years of Experience.

Package: Based upon asper textile industry norms

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Statutory Compliance Officer to ensure that the organization adheres to all legal and statutory requirements. This role involves monitoring, auditing, and ensuring timely compliance with all applicable labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, EDLI, etc.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers and records as required under various labour laws.
  • Coordinate with government departments for inspections, audits, and reporting.
  • Process monthly statutory payments and file necessary returns within deadlines (e.g., EPFO, ESIC, GST, Income Tax, Labour Welfare Fund).
  • Assist in the creation and submission of forms such as Form 3A, 6A, 5, 10, 12A, ECR, etc.
  • Maintain employee records related to PF/ESI nominations, UAN/KYC activation, and E-Penchant card issuance.
  • Handle registration and deactivation of employees under statutory schemes.
  • Update internal teams on changes in labour laws or statutory norms.
  • Liaise with HR and finance departments to align payroll and statutory deductions.
  • Ensure all necessary licenses, registrations, and renewals are valid and up to date.
  • Prepare reports and compliance status documents for management review.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in statutory compliance or payroll handling.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and statutory portals like EPFO, ESIC, TRACES, etc.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
