Statutory Accounting

• Experience working in Statutory Audit, Statutory Accounting & Reporting Tax or TP Accounting with the ability to clearly communicate information in an easy to understand manner. • Experience working in a matrics environment. • Clear thinking / problem solving. • Experience with financial systems / applications and strong with MS office applications. • Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others. • Analytical skills to identify & resolve problems. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Computer skills • Soft skills • Customer Service focussed. Good-to-Have • B.Com, M.Com or similar. • 6+ years of relevant experience in Finance Shared Services, Audit & compliance activity • JDE / ERP or Hyperion experience. • Prior experience with an energy service company

Role & responsibilities

1 Support preparation and reconcile USGAAP to statutory financials 2 Support preparation and reconcile statutory financials to filed tax return 3 Support preparation of data packs & reconciliation for local tax compliance 4 Support collection, consolidation of documents & tracking of audit queries and driving to closer with external auditors. 5 Support of TP / tax accounting/ tax compliance audits for tax and financial audits 6 Contribute to the development of SOPs/desktop procedures & keep them up to date
