Dhwani Foundation aims to enhance productivity and efficacy in the social sector, particularly focusing on grassroots organizations. The foundation supports organizational development programs, introduces technology enablers, and improves systems and processes. Additionally, it fosters collaborations to strengthen the sector. The goal is to bridge gaps and enable impactful social work.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a State Head - Tamilnadu at Dhwani Foundation. The State Head will oversee operational activities, provide strategic leadership, and ensure the successful implementation of organizational programs within the state. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, driving sectoral strengthening initiatives, and reporting on progress and challenges. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous engagement with grassroots organizations.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Project management and organizational development experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to engage stakeholders
  • Experience in process improvement and system enhancements
  • Knowledge of technology tools and enablers for the social sector
  • Proactive problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated passion for social sector and grassroots initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar role, especially within the non-profit sector, is beneficial
  • Managing NGO partnership, Leadership level engagement for Organization change management initiatives.
  • NGO Management Training will be an added advantage.
  • More than 10 years of NGO partnership Management.
