Role Overview
As the
Startup Accelerator Lead
, you will be responsible for
conceptualizing, designing, and executing
the Hiwox Accelerator Program a platform that brings together founders, investors, mentors, and healthcare partners to nurture innovation and scale impact.This is an
equity-based leadership role
, ideal for someone with entrepreneurial experience or a strong network in startups, healthcare innovation, or venture ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Launch the Accelerator Program: Create the end-to-end model for the Hiwox Accelerator including structure, cohort design, mentor network, and funding partnerships.
- Startup Scouting: Identify promising healthcare and wellness startups for pilot programs and investment readiness.
- Partnership Development: Build strategic collaborations with hospitals, corporates, government bodies, and investors to strengthen the accelerator ecosystem.
- Mentorship & Growth Support: Curate mentorship sessions, workshops, and growth tracks for selected startups.
- Pilot Implementation: Lead pilot programs within Hiwox partner hospitals to validate and scale startup solutions.
- Investor & Funding Connects: Coordinate demo days, pitch sessions, and investor matchmaking for accelerator startups.
- Impact Measurement: Track performance metrics, innovation outcomes, and ROI for startups within the accelerator.
What We're Looking For
- 410 years of experience in startup ecosystems, incubators, accelerators, or venture building.
- Strong understanding of healthcare, wellness, or technology innovation.
- Excellent relationship management and networking abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to build programs from zero to execution.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in early-stage, equity-based setups.
Equity Setup Process
The Equity Setup Involves
- 34 discussion rounds to define your ownership areas and strategic scope.
- 1-month cohort under NDA to align on deliverables and collaboration model.
- Cofounder Agreement post successful completion.
- Equity allocation after company registration and funding, with a 5-year vesting period.
- Compensation begins post-funding, as we build a 25+ equity-based founding team.
