Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Engineer for CASB Inline at Netskope, you will be a key member of a high performing engineering team, contributing to the development of cloud-based CASB Inline products. Your role will involve the full life-cycle software development process, including requirements analysis, technical architecture, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. You will play a crucial role in deploying solutions to production and ensuring post-production ownership. If you are passionate about solving complex problems and creating reliable, performant, and scalable cloud services, we would like to hear from you. - Work closely with other service development teams, product management, and support teams to ensure the scalability, supportability, and availability of the services you are responsible for. - Address customer issues promptly to enhance issue resolution response time and customer satisfaction. - Evaluate open source technologies and contribute to them to meet unique needs. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of building and supporting high-performance microservices. - Technical expertise in building and scaling microservices architectures, proficiency in backend languages like Go, Python, Java, or Node.js, and experience with API design and system integration. - Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
