Job Description

Design, deliver and maintain systems that enable Earners across the globe to easily onboard to the Uber platform which is a critical step in unlocking Earner access to Ubers platform.
Collaborate with product managers, data science and global operations teams to gather requirements.
Partner with fellow engineers to architect, develop and scale Screenings platform , while keeping operational issues in mind.
Mentor and support your fellow teammates.
Drive ongoing efficiency and reliability improvements that improve the quality of the systems.
Write clear documentation so that other engineers can partner to contribute and deliver.

Basic Qualifications

overall experience with a track record as a software engineer
Strong experience in software design and architecture.
Experience going through the full software cycle of requirements, design, coding/testing, rollout/deploy standard methodologies in delivering world class software and services.
Experience in technical collaboration with other engineers and product managers
Passion about your teams mission and the self-starting personality to make things happen.
Proven development experience and proficiency in distributed systems and micro services.
Proven programming skills in Go, Java, Python, or similar.
Proven frontend programming skills in Javascript, react, or similar.
Adept at communicating and collaborating effectively with others, promoting your ideas as well as being humble when you may be wrong
Excited to learn from and guide others and are passionate about creating tools, products and providing support for other junior engineer
