Staff Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions using Java (1.8 or higher).
• Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
• Design and implement multithreaded applications to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of applications using microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in MySQL and preferably Cassandra.
• Develop and deploy containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply design patterns, data structures, and coding principles to create reusable, maintainable, and high-quality components.
• Implement DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Contribute effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Maintain strong focus on code quality, system performance, and software engineering best practices.

Skills Required:

• Strong programming expertise in Java (1.8 or higher) with deep understanding of OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in multithreaded application development.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with REST API design and implementation.
• Good understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
