Job Description

Conduct security investigations of Cloud security and vulnerability incidents, analyzing various data sources to assess risk and impact.
Manage multiple cross-functional efforts and escalations simultaneously, engaging priorities and communicating with key stakeholders.
Solve complex technical problems involving independent but interconnected components.
Serve as the go-to person for broad security domains, understanding the interplay of threats between systems and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Google, including Legal, Engineering, and Communications teams.
Investigate the impact on Google Cloud customers to determine if new detection or compromise notifications are necessary.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience with vulnerability assessment, security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling and insider threat.
Minimum 2 years of experience with incident management and incident response.
Minimum 2 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
Experience with malware prevention is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a data-driven methodical approach towards solving tests.
