Staff Silicon Validation Engineer

As a Silicon Design Validation engineer at Lattice, you will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and results-oriented environment where individual success within a team-first organization is key. You will contribute to cutting-edge projects within the Silicon Engineering team, focusing on validating building blocks in FPGA to ensure functionality and performance. Here's what you will get to do: - Validate building blocks in FPGA on the board level, including IPs such as SERDES(PMA/PCS), Memory DDR, DPHY, PLL, DSP, Fabric, I/O, and more. - Acquire knowledge on the process and methodology required for validating IPs from planning to completion. - Develop validation and characterization plans, test logic RTL, and drive new silicon product bring-up, validation, and debug. - Collaborate with design, verification, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing teams as products move from silicon arrival to release. The ideal candidate for this role should have: - 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering - Capability to lead small teams as a tech lead - Expertise in High-Speed Serdes Interface characterization, board design, Verilog/VHDL, test automation development, statistical analysis, and bench equipment handling - Exposure to FPGA and strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills At Lattice, you will find a community of engineers, designers, and specialists dedicated to developing programmable logic solutions that are changing the industry.
