Staff - Quality Control

Conduct filament & denier testing to accurately measure denier, titer and related filament characteristics using automated systems.

Evaluate physical properties of yarn/filament: tensile strength, elongation, twist, variation, imperfections using instruments such as Uster-testers, DTI-500, Statimat and other analyzers.

Generate QC reports, trend-charts and dashboards based on testing data; monitor quality trends or deviations and recommend corrective actions to the production team.

Uphold quality compliance: maintain and document SOPs, calibration logs and ensure traceability in audit-ready formats; ensure adherence to internal QC procedures and international quality standards (e. g. , ISO, ASTM).

Liaise with production / process engineering teams to escalate quality issues, propose improvement initiatives and follow up corrective/preventive actions.

Maintain laboratory test environment: ensure instruments are properly calibrated, maintained, and that testing protocols are strictly followed.

Provide data-driven insight: analyse test results, identify root causes of deviations, summarise findings and drive continuous improvement.

Participate in internal/external audits: prepare documentation, support audit queries and ensure compliance evidence is available.

Coach or support junior QC staff in instrument usage, data interpretation and quality standards.
