Quality Control Executive (Trainee)

Role & responsibilities

1. Raw Material Quality Control

• Inspect incoming

  LLDPE resins, additives, masterbatches, inks, coatings, films, and consumables

  as per approved specifications.
• Verify supplier COA (Certificate of Analysis) against internal standards.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials.

2. In-Process Quality Control

• Monitor

  rotational moulding / LLDPE article production

  for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, color consistency, and defects (pinholes, warpage, shrinkage).
• Check process parameters (temperature, cycle time, material usage) and record deviations.
• Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Screen Printing & Label QC

• Inspect

  printed labels

  for:
• Print registration
• Ink adhesion
• Color matching
• Drying/curing quality
• Surface defects
• Conduct basic

  adhesion and rub tests

  as defined.
• Ensure consistency for both

  in-house use and external customer supply

  .

4. Finished Goods Inspection

• Perform final inspection of finished LLDPE articles and printed labels before dispatch.
• Ensure packing and labeling meet quality and customer requirements.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain QC records, inspection reports, and daily logs.
• Assist in preparing

  quality checklists, SOPs, and work instructions

  .
• Report quality issues to seniors promptly.

6. Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with

  production, purchase, and stores teams

  for quality-related matters.
• Support internal audits and customer inspections.
• Ensure adherence to

  5S and basic safety practices

  .

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic understanding of

  plastic materials and manufacturing processes

  (preferred).
• Eye for detail and defect identification.
• Ability to follow SOPs and quality standards.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
• Willingness to learn and work on the shop floor.
